Attitude Of Big-Brands Towards Its Consumers

In This Section Of My Blog I'll Post All The Recent Problems That The Consumers Faced After Buying Products Of The So Called
"Well Known Brands"

Which Will Be Helpful For People Who Is Willing To Buy Similar Products.

In India Big-Brands Are Ruling Because The Consumers Are Not Aware Of The Power They Have.

The Brands Do As Much Cheatings They Can To Fools Its Customers.
The Big-Brands Hire Big-Big Advertising Agencies & Spents Lots & Lots Of Consumers Money To Advertise Its Products But When It Comes To "SERVICE" They Fall Short Becasue The Reason Is Very Simple.
Brands Never Wants To Spent Much Money In After-Sales Service Because Once Their Goods Are Sold They Hardly Hear Their Customers Call No Matter How Loud A Customer Shouts.!!!!!!!!

It Doesn't Matter How Well The Brand Web-Site Is Built You'll Still Have Problem Because No One Will Hear Your Call.

The Government Of India Gave You Certain Rights But Do You Think Those Rights Can Be Used To Put The Big Brands Behind The Bars For Their Wrong Doings ?

According To Me "Laws Of India" Is Just Like The  "Laws Of Kindergarten"
In Only One Way Its Different (Rich People Will Gets Bail Easily Even They Commited Crime & Poor People Will Get Arrested Even If They Are Right)

This Is Why Such Big-Brands Fly In Indian Market With Its Wings Wide-Open.

I Can Go On & On With This Boring Topic But Then Again I Know No One Is There To Hear.

So I Just Want To Make People Aware Before Buying Any Product Try Your Limit Best To Survey The Product Quality & The After-Sales Service Because If In Future Your Purchased Product Broke You'll Have A Hard Time Getting It Fixed (Even Though Its In Warranty)

Does the Samsung Company through its dealers/service centres, rewards/punishes its loyal customers by undue harassment instead of product services? And isn’t there anyone accountable to the customer’s problems?
The above questions arose because of the following facts:
I would like to submit that on 27th April 2013 I had purchased a Samsung Grand (metallic blue color) handset (IMEI No: 356150056058384 ) from a Samsung dealer: Mobile World located at Bhowanipore, Kolkata, India {Owner: Mr. Ajay Bagaria (Mobile No: 9830775579)} under the EMI scheme. And this I purchased inspite of my peers warning me against the ramifications of problems they faced with Grand, but I being a loyal user of Samsung products went ahead with the purchase.
However within 7 days of my purchase the handset started malfunctioning. Some of the problems faced by me:
1. With no applications being installed other than the default ones, and with a free RAM of about 524MB also, the phone hung after almost every use. It would only be normal if I took out the battery and restarted the phone.
2. The screen on its own would go blank, in during that duration, if someone called it wouldn’t ring and so the call would be missed, giving a wrong impression to the caller.
3. On such a high end phone as Grand, a normal game like Temple run would hang every 30 seconds in between the game.
4. The phone would not connect to the PC via USB cable until and unless I restarted the phone. Even after connecting it would take hours to load the contents of the phone.
On noticing these problems occurring frequently, I visited the dealer twice; first in the 2nd week of May 2013 and second in the 4th week of May 2013. Every time that I submitted the phone to the dealer to get it rectified he got the phone formatted and reset. But the problem wasn’t solved. I personally visited your service center at “Flat No. 10, No.12, 1st Floor, Maruti Building, Loudon Street” and submitted the phone and to my surprise, I noticed some features which the phone never showed before; one being a new menu display when an earphone would be inserted. But still the problems persisted.
On 4th June 2013 I submitted the phone again to the service center with a request for replacement with job sheet no: 4152990419. However, inspite of facing problems and continuously requesting your customer care officers, none of them could help me with a resolution, instead I was harassed!
I would bring to your notice that from 27th April 2013 it’s been almost 45 days and out of which I have been able to use the phone only for 15 days and too with bugs and problems.
It has been more than just harassment and mental trauma for me since 27th April 2013.
It is astonishing and disappointing that inspite of being a loyal customer of Samsung electronics for over 10 years now I have to face such ordeal.

I purchased led TV on 11oct 2011 from Gulati plaza jabalpur , receipt no 7577.
within a year the tv was showing 2 thread lines , I made a complaint to service center . They visited our place and told that it is not the problem of TV , it is signal problem , the time passed on . problem increased , now the full panel is blinking . I launched complained again, no is 8454272994 . service center gave me estimate of Rs 15260/- .
it is very strange that the LED TV of Rs 33000/- needs a repair worth Rs 15260/- in just 18 months . I am sure this is a manufacturing problem of Samsung , we are using the Tv with all care . please take up the matter at higher level and replace my tv . otherwise I will have to take the matter in press and to consumer court .

Very poor service support. My complaint (# 8454149638) made on 8th June is yet to be attended to. Whenever I call them up, gets false stereotype commitments. Worst, service engineer who was supposed to come to attend to complaint talked very rudely over phone.

Dear Samsung,
Out of frustration and despair, I am forced to communicate with you here. All other mode of communication seem to have failed.

I have bought a fridge from one of your dealers, which was delivered to me with dents on the front door. We promptly registered a complaint (#8428034800) with your customer care but after weeks of following up with your customer care and letters to the CEO (https://contactus.samsung.com/customer/contactus/formmail/mail/MailQuestionGeneralNew.jsp?siteId=592&PROD_ID=G303850) our problem is still not fixed. Here is short summary of the kind of response I have been getting.

1. Fridge gets delivered in an unacceptable state.
2. No body came to demonstrate the product as promised by the dealer.
3. It took 4-5 phone calls from our end for the first engineer visit who made sure that the complaint was genuine.
4. After many, many phone calls to the customer care and letters to the CEO, a front door was delivered to us.
5. An engineer visits our place only to find that the delivered door is of a different model.

This is where I lost complete faith in your operations and customer support.

6. The wrong door is still with us, no one has come to claim it. We are still waiting for the problem to get rectified, almost a month since purchase and at least 2 weeks from the "wrong delivery"
7. The funny thing is, my letters to the CEO is being replied via a "do-not-reply" email address. Every time I need to reply to it, I have to copy the whole email thread and fill up a new form on your website.

This whole thing has now started to look funny. You guys have absolutely no clue on what you are doing. I am looking for the real email ID of your CEO and I will writing to him as well. It is high time, he was made aware of things going on.
